AxNote (“AxNote”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a note-taking and annotation application available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro via the Apple App Store. Your privacy is important to us, and this Privacy Policy explains how AxNote handles information.

AxNote does not collect, store, or process any personal data.

2. User Content and Storage

AxNote allows you to store files locally on your device or in a cloud storage provider of your choice (for example, iCloud Drive or other third-party cloud services).

• AxNote does not operate or manage any cloud storage service.
• When you choose to store files with a third-party cloud provider, your data is governed by that provider's privacy policy and terms.
• AxNote does not have access to your cloud account credentials or stored files beyond what is required to save or open files at your direction.

3. ChatGPT Extension (Image Playground)

AxNote includes support for the optional ChatGPT extension within the Image Playground Apple Intelligence feature. If you choose to use this extension:

• The prompt information you provide (such as text or image descriptions) is sent to OpenAI for processing.
• AxNote does not store or retain this prompt data.
• Processing of this data is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Use of the ChatGPT extension is entirely optional.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of AxNote after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
